Title
Idea Bank: Awaken Creativity Using Other Arts as Inspiration for Music-Making
Description
Artists are often inspired by one form of art to create a new composition in their preferred art form, whether it is music, visual art, poetry, or dance. Sometimes, however, two or more of these art forms are combined to create a new, original composition. I would like to explore several opportunities for students to use visual art, poetry, and dance as inspiration for music-making as well as creating new musical compositions.
